Sunhaven Classic Cantilever Umbrella

The Sunhaven is supported by a strong aluminium frame outfitted with stainless steel hardware to create a completely rust resistant umbrella that will be welcome by the pool, waterfront, entertainment area or on a deck. A resilient 75x100mm mast is connected to the foot-pedal that activates the 360° rotation mechanism and an easily accessed multi-use handle and detachable crank winder which has been fatigue-tested to ensure longevity. This intuitive handle is used not only to open the canopy but it also introduces a left-right tilt to domestic cantilever umbrellas in this size range! It also adjusts the Sunhaven’s unique vertical tilt which is limitless thanks to the infinite track spine in the mast which allows the heavy duty boom arm to stop anywhere along its length.

*While this umbrella has passed a wind rating test of 40km/h, this is more suitably used as a comparative guide on the strength of the umbrella. It is not suggested to leave this umbrella open in winds up to 40km/h. This is because the wind tunnel test is done with a consistent, even wind coming from an optimal direction. Windy conditions are not this consistent; they are unpredictable and gusty. All cantilever umbrellas should be collapsed in breezy conditions. Wind damage is NOT covered by warranty.

FABRIC

The Sunhaven Cantilever canopy is made with SunNova Acrylic fabric that is solution-dyed, meaning that it is colourfast. It has also been treated to make the shade UPF50+ so that it will block up to 98% of UV rays. It is also highly water-resistant and has a four year warranty. For the best possible lifespan, use the complimentary cover when not in use.

WARRANTY

The Sunhaven comes with a 4 Year Fabric Warranty and a 12 month workmanship warranty on the frame.

FRAME

Heavy duty rust-resistant aluminium makes up the frame of the Sunhaven and is fitted out with stainless steel hardware. It has a 40km/h wind rating and is available in two styles: powdercoated matte charcoal, and matte silver anodised aluminium.

This frame is opened, closed, and tilted both vertically and horizontally with the multi-use grip and detachable crank winder. The frame also allows for 360° rotation with the use of a foot pedal.

The powdercoated frame is charcoal and has a matte finish. This gives it a water and rust-resistant coating.

INSTALLATION

There are multiple ways the Sunhaven cantilever umbrella can be installed and you are able to choose which option you prefer when purchasing the Sunhaven!

1x1m size and powdercoated. Requires 6-8 ballast blocks or pavers which need to be 450-500mm square and can be sourced from a hardware or nursery store. Castor wheels are not compatible with this base.	Hot-dip galvanised baseplate for optimum rust-resistance. Measures 180x180x10mm and requires 4 x M10 anchor bolts to be secured to a 100mm thick reinforced concrete slab.	Hot-dip galvanised inground base specific to the Sunhaven. Dimensions are 13.5 x 13.5 x 0.6mm and requires 4 stainless steel bolts.	A UV treated plastic base inside which four square reservoirs can be filled with water and sand in order to make up the 130-160kg recommended weight. Dimensions 850x850x180mm. Lockable stainless steel castor wheels available as optional extra.	A galvanised and powdercoated steel base frame in which can be placed up to 12 x 14kg blocks or pavers measuring 40x40x4cm for a total weight of around 200kg. Lockable stainless steel castor wheels available as optional extras.	A UV treated resin base with retractable wheels. It has a removable lid to access a reservoir which should be filled with blue metal and sand to make up the 120kg recommended weight.  Dimensions 896 x 896 x 240mm.
